FSC x PENDLETON SHOP COAT - Harding Mix $1,220.00 Sold Out The most unique piece of our Fall 2016 Made In Japan collection, the FSC/Pendleton shop coat is cut from an iconic Pendleton blanket pattern known as the "Harding Oxford Mix." The origins of this pattern date back to 1923 when President Warren G. Harding and his wife visited the Pacific Northwest to dedicate part of the old Oregon trail. The area’s tribal dignitaries asked Pendleton Woolen Mills to create a unique blanket as a special gift to the First Lady. The weavers modified the already iconic Chief Joseph pattern to produce a pattern that perfectly captured the spirit of the West. Woven by the Pendleton factory in Japan and constructed with typical Japanese attention to detail, this coat features single-need tailoring throughout, a 4-button notch lapel, 3 external patch pockets, a single back vent, adjustable back belt and is finished with genuine horn buttons affixed with leather backers. This extremely limited edition piece is executed to perfection and is extremely warm.
